Chief Executive Officer
Rob Hooper has forged a reputation as a distinguished executive in multiple industries including health care, financial services, manufacturing, retail, resort development and tourism as well as consulting for major global brands and governments. In addition to serving as the Executive Director of the Nevada State EB-5 Regional Center, he is also past Executive Director of the Northern Nevada Development Authority (NNDA)–entrusted by the Nevada Governor’s Office of Economic Development with the economic future of the Sierra Region of Nevada.
Rob has acted as Entrepreneurship Instructor for La Sierra University (2000–2004), President of Outlook International (1989–2004), President of Healthy Drugstore September (1999 –2005), Chief Operating Officer of Vitamin Research Products (2005—2008) and Chief Strategy Officer for One Globe Foundation (2008–2009).
In 2010, Rob began to actively support and promote the Nevada State EB-5 Regional Center (NVEB-5)–a Nevada non-profit organization committed to creating and promoting economic growth through foreign investment capital. He was elected to the Board of Directors in 2011, and in 2014, Rob was appointed Chief Executive Officer of the organization.
Community minded, Rob has served on numerous boards and committees impacting education, health care and public service. In 2012, he was appointed, and continues to serve, as member to the Health Care Sector Council for the State of Nevada. Additionally, in 2013, he was appointed to be a member of the Nevada State Agriculture Sector Council and Dream It Do It Nevada where he serves as Chairman. In 2009, Nevada State Lt. Governor Brian Krolicki recognized Rob’s outstanding work by presenting him with the Nevada Leadership Award on behalf of the state.
In 1973, Rob graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of California, Riverside. Committed to fostering exceptional education with in the State of Nevada, Rob has worked closely with various education boards. His efforts include the Nevada Advisory Council for Career and Technical Education and the Western Nevada College Advisory Board.
Lynn Beteag has over 30 years of professional experience representing Fortune 500 companies in Corporate Real Estate Portfolio Management and Acquisitions and Mergers. Lynn’s corporate experiences include Facility, Project, Construction Management, Lease Administration and real estate expansion programs in the United States and Canada.
As a Real Estate manager for ARCO/British Petroleum (BP) from 1986 to 2000, Lynn oversaw all company owned and franchised properties in the 5 Western United States and Canada. During this time, she was instrumental in two petroleum acquisitions and the subsequent purchase of ARCO by BP. In 2002, she joined Comerica Bank where she rose to Senior Vice President. Lynn developed an aggressive Bank Expansion Program that was implemented from Coast to Coast in the U.S.. At Comercia, she was responsible for a staff of over 250 employees and outsourced personnel who successfully identified, negotiated over 350 new branch locations throughout the United States. In 2009, Lynn joined Cushman & Wakefield’s Global Client Solutions Services as their Account Executive for the Automobile Club of Southern California account. She streamlined and managed a Corporate Real Estate portfolio spanning 30 states. Lynn’s strategic mindset to problem solve and consolidate their real estate footprint brought a substantial cost savings to the client.
In 2013, Lynn became Managing Director for the Nevada State EB-5 Regional Center in Carson City—a Nevada non-profit organization committed to creating and promoting economic growth through foreign investment capital. In her current capacity with NVEB-5, she directs and ensures the development and successful operation of the Regional Center.
Lynn has served a variety of community associations including the Women’s Association of Commercial Real Estate in Orange County, California where she doubled membership in one year. Additionally, she has been recognized for her outstanding service efforts including: the YMCA Award for her Leadership Role in the Economic, Civic, and Cultural Life of Greater Los Angles, the Arco Leadership Award for Outstanding Performance (which she received for 4 consecutive years), and the Comerica Bank Leadership Award for Acquisitions and Mergers.
After attending Western Michigan University, Lynn obtained her college degree equivalence through American Management Association International Certificate of Continued Education in 1998 and in 1999, received the International Right of Way Association Certificate for Real Estate Acquisition.
